Peter Blight has been an announcer at Easy Music 3MP, Melbourne, Australia since December 1996.  He is on air every weeknight from 7pm, and also hosts the ’50s and ’60s programme “Jukebox Saturday Night” .

Ironically, many music radio announcers have little real passion for music.  I, however, have genuine and broad musical interests, from classical to contemporary.  I also enjoy my computer, good weather, good food and good conversation.  On air, I’ve conversed with some of the world's biggest names, such as Paul McCartney, Dionne Warwick, Donovan and Don McLean.

My favourite music includes Dvorak’s 9th, Artie Shaw, Billie Holiday, Kate Bush, Jim Croce, the Beatles, and everything that Genesis and Justin Hayward have ever recorded!
